Candidates from La Granz area were invited to make electoral pitches online

La Granz Area League of women voters has been over a century, but the next round of candidates’ forums will be anchored in the Internet era as this informative session takes online.

Residents will be able to present questions to the candidates for the La Grenj Park Village Board, La Grenj School District 102 Education Board and Leonse Township High School District 204 Education Board.

League member N Lee stated that he has infected to zoom the candidate for the forums since Kovid, “and has stopped with the format due to many advantages, which does not require a location, and the participation for the candidates is not required. It is easy to take.

Trained intermediaries will be chosen for events, and online format will help each candidate manage the time allotted while avoiding the disruption of the audience.

The league is hosting the forums only in the race for competition and near it La Granj School District 102 (February 4), La Granz Park Village Board (5 February), and for the forums for Leon Township High School District 204 (11 February) were determined. Every one hour will be tall and will begin with the initial statements of the candidates which will include their background, qualification and reasons for walking to the office.

Residents may present questions to Lagrangelwvvv@gmail.com to ask candidates for LWV moderators, but will not guarantee the use of the league time, citing the restrictions of time. For other information about participating, the league’s web site is on Lagrangearealwv.org. The forums will be recorded and the next day will be posted on the league website.

Four candidates are running for three trustee seats at La Granz Park: Inkambants Jamie Zaura, Karansel and German Stewart, and newcomer Nick Diaphero. Village President James Discipio and Clerk Meghan are running for some reunion.

Four seats have been opened for Leon’s Township High School District 204 Board. Elias Lopez, Christine Kozelka Campbell, Arleen Farolan Cabana and Sean Kennedy are facing Challenging Incumbent Gioia Giannotti Frye. FRI was appointed to fill the seat of a board member last year which was going away. The chairman of the board is not running for Jill Get and Board Members Paula Struving and Michael Thomas Reunion. After the election, a new board president will be selected among the board members.

The district will give seats to three new members, none of the incumbents running for three open seats on the La Grenj School District 102 Board. Candidate Joana Lago, Brian M. Of Grogan, Junior, Jordan Beach, Shannon Rescho and Eric. Are Tomans.

Although there is no platform for the La Granj Village elections, four candidates are running for three open seats, including Lu Gayle, Pegi Peterson and Glenn Thompson. A fourth candidate, newcomer Carla Carter, a lawyer with an intellectual property and a La Granj resident since 2018, is also dying for one of the three trustee posts. La Grenj Village President Mark Kuler and clerk Paul Saladino are running for reunion.
