Metra train delayed after a pedestrian was killed at Berevin stop

According to Metra, a BNSF Metra train was delayed by about 40 minutes today due to a deadly accident with a pedestrian.

The BNSF line train was traveling east towards Chicago Union Station, when she killed the pedestrian at around 10:00 pm, the pedestrian was taken to a hospital after the accident and was declared dead in the hospital.

Another BNSF train, which is scheduled to reach Arora at 11:51 am, will express from Lagrange Road to Main Street/Downers Grove.

This is the second time this week when a Metra train killed a pedestrian. On Monday evening, Milwauki District West Line Train killed a pedestrian near Rosle.
