More active duty soldiers will go to the US-Maxico border, reaching a total of 3,600

Washington – Pentagon will deploy about 1,500 more active duty troops along the southern border to support President Donald Trump’s expansion rift, the US official said on Friday.

This will eventually bring a total of about 3,600 active duty soldiers on the border.

The order has been approved, the official said, to send a logistics brigade from the 18th Airborne Corps at Fort Liberty in North Carolina. The officer spoke on the condition of anonymity as the deployment has not yet been declared publicly.

The Pentagon is pentagon to sign Trump’s executive orders soon after taking over on January 20. The first group of 1,600 active duty soldiers has already deployed on the border, and there are more than 500 soldiers of the 10th mountain division.

About 500 marines have also been told that several hundred marines have already come there.

Soldiers going to the border are expected to help in concertina wire barriers and provide the border patrol required transport, intelligence and other assistance. Logistics brigade will help soldiers support and maintain.

Soldiers visiting Guantanamo are helping migrants prepare facilities and other support duties.
