Northwestern lost Brooks Baranaizer for the season and Saturday’s play number 17 to Visconsin 75-69

John Tonje had 27 points and number 17 Wisconsin defeated Northwestern 75–69 in Evanston on Saturday.

Northwestern: Wildcat’s leading scorer Martinelly found shots barely to come in the first 25 minutes, but Litche and Berry helped them to keep five and four 3-pointers respectively.

Gilmore’s alert Le-in with a tone with 9:24 gave the Bezers his first leadership and forced a wildcats to timeout. Shorthand wildcats remained close but the rest of the route was never threatened.

Bayzers had just one second-half turnover after leaving the ball nine times in the first 20 minutes.
