1977: A viewer called it “a slow horror”. The tribune called it the worst accident in the history of the Chicago Transit Authority. Eleven people were killed and the score was injured when a CTA elevated train hit behind a standing train in Lake Street and Vabash Avenue, drowned several cars on the road during the evening crowd.

2007: Super Bowl XLI launched encouraging for Chicago bear as Dewin Hester returned to the opening kickoff 92 yards for the touchdown on a rain evening in Miami. Creating his first super bowl appearance in 21 years, Beer went into the fourth quarter 22–17 and intercepted the Rex Grosman Pass and returned it 56 yards for the clinning touchdown.

The Grosman completed 20 out of 28 passes for 165 yards and a touchdown, but threw two interception as Peeton Manning claimed his only Super Bowl Championship. Last Score: Colts 29, Beer 17.

2015: The event began at Leton Criminal Court Building after Illinois Supreme Court approved a long -awaited pilot program allowing cameras in the court room in December 2014. The first case to be photographed/television was to sentence two people in the murder of Chicago Police Officer Thomas Worthum IV.
