New York Met’s signed Nick Madrigal, former Chicago cub and White Sox Infielder for a 1 -year contract

New York-Nuyorck Met’s on Friday signed the infielder Nick Madrigal for a one-year contract.

Madrigal hit 10 with 10 RBI in 51 matches for the Chicago cub last year. The team vested him in November.

The 27 -year -old Madrigal will compete for a place on the New York bench in spring training. He has started the Big-League on the second and third basis.

Infielder Louis de Los Santos was nominated for assignments to make a place for Madrigal on the team’s roster.

Chicago White Sox selected 5 -Foot -8 Madrigal with number 4 picks in the 2018 amateur draft outside the Oregon State. He traded her at the Crossstown Cub in July 2021 at the Craig Kimel Deal.

Madrigal is a .274 hitter with four homes, 77 RBI and 285 career major-League games.
