Chicago BlackHox called the number 2 pick Artiay Levashunov to practice with the team during AHL break

Chicago BlackHox called Artiay Levashunov, the top probability from Rockford Ishogs on Monday to practice with the team during AHL’s all-star break.

Hawks general manager Kyle Davidson said in a statement, “We felt that it would be a good opportunity for the development of Aarti to get some NHL-level practice experience, something that he is in injury during the training camp this season Could not do the reason. ”

“While we do not expect to see any sports action while remembering them, we believe that Anubhav Aarti will be a positive because he continues on the path of his development.”

19-year-old Levashunov finished second with three goals in Rockford Blue-Liners with 10 assistance through 38 games.

Before recalling to Chicago, in his final two matches, he had a target and assistance against Chicago Valves and Milwauki Admirals respectively.

This is the first time to show Levashunov’s own size (6 -foot -2, 209 pounds) and is an aggressive skill with the Big Club as Hawks drafted him number 2 in the last summer.

On September 11, he broke his foot, blocking a shot during training in Florida, sitting out of the development camp and training camp and recalled the beginning of the Ishogs season.

Levashunov is signed for three years, entry-level contract (via 2026–27), which hits a $ 975,000 salary cap.

Meanwhile, fellow Defenseman Louis Krevier was placed on the wounded reserve after a hit behind the head during a 5–1 defeat of the Hawks to Florida on Saturday.
