The Chicago cub on Tuesday acquired Ryan Brassier in a business with Los Angeles Dojers, adding the right hand to his bullpen after cutting by the World Series Champions last week.
The cub will send a player to the brussier’s name or cash, which proceeded 1-0 with 3.54 ERAs in 29 matches last year, with four beginnings. He was nominated for assignments when Dosers finalized their one -year contract with Kirby Yets on Thursday.
The cubs have been active as they first see to return to the playoffs after 2020, especially when it comes to upgrading their bulpanes through business. He added Elli Morgan and Ryan to a pair of trades before receiving Brassiers. The cub also received Kodi Potat from New York Yankis at the Kodi Beldinger Deal.
The 37 -year -old Brassier owes $ 4.5 million in the second season of a two -year contract and can become a free agent after the 2025 World Series. He did not pitch for the dujers between 27 April and August 17 because due to a stressful right calf in Pregem Warmup.
Brassier made his major league with Angels in 2013. He signed with Dozers after Boston Red Socks released in May 2023, and had 1.89 ERA in his 68 performances with NL West Club.
Brassier saves 10-8 and 297 in career games with 3.85 ERA.
The left-handed Rob Zobstaries was nominated for assignments to make a place for brassier on the 40-man roster of the cub.
