DePaul men fall to Butler 86-69 for their 11th loss in last 14 games

INDIANAPOLIS—Pierre Brooks had 29 points and 13 rebounds to lead Butler past Butler 86-69 on Saturday, handing the Blue Demons their 11th loss in 14 games.

NJ Benson finished with 20 points and nine rebounds for DePaul (10-11, 1-9 Big East). CJ Gunn added 16 points, and Connor Enright had 12 points, six assists and two steals.

Jahmil Telfort shot 7 of 12 from the field for 18 points and Finley Bizzak added 17 for the Bulldogs (9-11, 2-7).

Butler took the lead with 2:17 remaining in the first half and never looked back. The Bulldogs led 40–33, with Brooks scoring 13 points, then went on a 10–0 second half run.
