Late President Jimmy Carter wins Grammy posthumously

Los Angeles – Former President Jimmy Carter has posthumously won the Grammy Award.

Carter, a peanut farmer, who won the presidential post in the wake of the Watergate scam and the Vietnam War, died in December at the age of 100. Prior to his death, Carter was nominated in 2025 villages in the category of audio book, statement and storytelling. In the category, Jimmy Carter defeated Barbara Streesand, George Clinton, Dolly Partane and producer Gai Oldfield.

If the Streesand wins instead of Carter, it will be his first Grammy win in 38 years.

Currently, the oldest person to win Grammy was 97 -year -old Pinetop Perkins in 2011.
