Des Watson scored 13 out of 17 points in the first half and Loyola’s men’s basketball defeated St. Bonvancher in Chicago 77-53 on Tuesday.
Watson also contributed four thefts for Rambars (14-8, 5-4 Atlantic 10 Conferences). Miles Rubin scored 15 points and added nine rebounds and three blocks. Jayden Dawson had 14 points and shot 5 for 12, including 4 for 11 beyond the arc.
Boniz (17–7, 5-6) was led by Melvin Council Junior, who posted 13 points. Chance Moore added 11 points and two theft. Jona Hinton also had 10 points.
Ramblikers took the lead in the first half with 12:53 balances and never looked back. He led 33–24 in HafTime and then gained 21 points to expand the lead of nine points with 14–2 runs in the second half.
Ramblers plays on the road against Duxne on Saturday, and Boniz hosts George Washington on Sunday.
