South Bend, Ind.- Hannah Hidalgo scored 24 points and the number 3 notre Dame gave Stanford the worst defeat of the basketball program of his stored women because Fighting Irish rolled in the 96-47 victory on Thursday night.
Notre Dame’s 49-point Romp topped the 45-point win by Long Beach State in 1983 (96-51), which was Stanford’s worst loss until Thursday defeat in South Bend.
